Join us every third Sunday of the month for Family+, a fun and free event for everyone! The museum is transformed into a creative hub where artists, makers, and musicians come together to offer a variety of exciting activities and workshops for kids, teens, and families+.

Make Your Own Tote Bag

The "Make Your Own Tote Bag" workshop with textile artist Claudia Rodriguez-Biezunski (Sew Loka) guides participants through creating a personalized tote bag while learning essential sewing techniques and textile design principles. In this hands-on session, you'll transform fabric into a functional, stylish accessory under the guidance of Rodriguez-Biezunski, whose work blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary cultural influences. The perfect workshop for art lovers who want to wear their creativity home!

WORKSHOP REGISTRATION

Macrame Keychains 

Learn about the art of macrame and rope knotting to make your very own keychain. Choose your color of eco-friendly cord and learn the knots used to create a beautiful spiral design keychain in this hands-on workshop guided by fiber artist Isabel Espriu.

Stationery Making and Decorating 

Design and decorate your own hand-stitched booklet, card, envelope, or gift tag using hand-carved rubber stamps and ink pads. Participants will create their own unique abstract designs by combining shapes, words, and images.

Crea tu propia bolsa de mano

El taller "Crea tu propia bolsa de mano" con la artista textil Claudia Rodriguez-Biezunski (Sew Loka) guía a los participantes en la creación de una bolsa de mano personalizada mientras aprenden técnicas esenciales de costura y principios de diseño textil. Artesanía y decoración

Diseña y decora tu propio folleto, tarjeta, sobre o etiqueta de regalo cosidos a mano con sellos de goma tallados a mano y almohadillas de tinta. Los participantes crearán sus propios diseños abstractos únicos combinando formas, palabras e imágenes.
