Schnitzer and His Family Foundation. Artists and scholars will offer multiple perspectives on David Hockney, introducing personal accounts, exploring lessons from Art History, and reflecting on Hockney’s influences and points of departure.

Artist Jay Lynn Gomez, in conversation with Latinx and Queer Studies scholar Laura Gutierrez, will revisit Jay’s body of earlier works that use David Hockney's vision of Los Angeles as a point of departure, particularly in relation to Jay’s transgender identity.
