León Muñoz Santini, founder of Gato Negro Ediciones, will discuss his work as publisher and designer in developing risograph (digital screen printing) publications across art theory, political thought, poetry, and prose.
León will be joined by Jack Henrie Fisher from Other Forms collective to reflect on a new large-scale mural commissioned for the Eso es la Vida/This is life exhibition entitled Su voz: una melodia distante (Their voice: a distant melody.). The piece considers the future role of the revolutionary in the digital and late capitalist eras.
About Gato Negro Ediciones
Since 2013, Gato Negro Ediciones has acted as an urgent voice in independent publishing across the cultural realm. Advocating freedom of thought, the Mexico City-based press intentionally prints titles that challenge accepted views of contemporary society. In a world where suppression of knowledge is rampant, Gato Negro champions the voices of writers.
