Join us for a Juneteenth-inspired Night Sessions!
Juneteenth, short for “June Nineteenth,” is celebrated annually on June 19 to commemorate the country’s second Independence Day—a day that symbolized the end of slavery in the United States. Communities across the country celebrate in various ways, and in 2021, Juneteenth became a federal holiday.
Palm Springs Art Museum is committed to providing opportunities for community connection and celebration. On June 20, join us for a Juneteenth-inspired Night Sessions, where you’ll enjoy performances from local artists, musicians, and speakers.
Also join us on June 27, 2024, for Cocktail Cinema where we will be screening the film Get Out in the Annenberg Theater.
