Hosted by Modernism Week and Palm Springs Art Museum, these self-guided tours are a rare opportunity to see the residence of modernist architect Albert Frey.
Frey House II is recognized as an outstanding example of modernist architecture. Architects, scholars, and students from around the world come to Palm Springs to study and appreciate Albert Frey’s work. His unique understanding of function, form, practicality, and love for the desert landscape combine to provide us this extraordinary legacy.
A shuttle van will transport ticket holders from Palm Springs Art Museum’s Buddy Rogers Box Office to Frey House II.
Tickets can also be used for free admission to both the Palm Springs Art Museum and the Architecture & Design Center from October 19–31, 2023 any day except the days the museum is closed (closed Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday).
A twilight tour and bubbly for a limited number of guests is available at 4:30 p.m. each evening.
Modernism Week — October is a four-day long “mini-Modernism Week” featuring more than 50 events, including tours, talks, and parties in unique locations not regularly open to the public.
