Sara Genn is a Canadian-born visual artist known for her color field painting and installations. Genn’s work explores the nuances of color perception, materiality, and aesthetic balance, influenced by her Japanese heritage and the principles of wabi-sabi—emphasizing simplicity, asymmetry, and natural beauty.

Genn blends the weightiness and weightlessness of her compositions with the interplay of light, shadow, and surface. Her work creates a unique, tactile environment that invites both contemplation and excitement.

Transportation to and from the studio, light bites, and refreshments will be provided.
