The museum is pleased to provide FREE music from a diverse range of musicians as part of our ongoing Music in the Garden series. All performances start at 6 p.m. in the newly redesigned Marcuse Sculpture Garden. For your enjoyment, the Muse Café will be open and serving food and beverages during these events. These events are free and open to the public.

JOHN PAGELS
Musician John Pagels has been the master of guitar, drums and bass for the past 40 years. He began his career in Southern Michigan where he received a full music scholarship, which led to teaching fully accredited college-level guitar courses. This led to his performing in many popular bands in the night club scene of Detroit, Kalamazoo, Ann Arbor, and surrounding areas. While in Ann Arbor, wrote and recorded the soundtrack for the film Imperialist Overture.
Pagels has performed in popular jazz trios, pit orchestras for many musicals at various dinner theaters and has performed on classical guitar at numerous exclusive Tampa hotels and restaurants. Pagels moved to Palm Springs and has been a professional recording artist and performing musician ever since. He plays Spanish and classical guitar, original rock and pop songs with a hint of humor. Experience this FREE performance in the Marcuse Sculpture Garden, where you can enjoy a variety of refreshments from the Muse café.
This performance will run approximately one hour.
