Museum Camp
Beginning June 2008, join us each week for our four day Museum Art Camp for kids ages 3 through 12. You’ll share many exciting artistic journeys with creative hands-on projects and adventurous museum gallery experiences.

- Work with contemporary artists.
- Create your own art stories!
Museum Art Camp is presented by a team of experienced museum educators and visiting artists. Children make personal connections to art through hands-on learning. Classes take place in air-conditioned galleries and art studios. Morning classes are from 9 am to 12 noon, and afternoon classes are from 1 to 4 pm A supervised lunch period is provided for campers enrolled in both morning and afternoon sessions; campers must bring their own sack lunch and drink. More information will be provided in the Spring of 2008.

The Palm Springs Art Museum was founded as a one-room facility in 1938 and has grown to the current 125,000 square-foot facility. It was designed in 1974 by noted architect E. Stewart Williams and the top floor was added in 1995. |
